DogWatch of Central Pa is owned by Dan McConnell, and was established in January 2004. He is a 2001 Graduate of Penn State with an 4yr Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree. As a dog lover growing up in Altoona Pa he and his family always had dogs.
Meet Riley a male lab when he was just 4 months old. Sure he looks cute and innocent but that would soon change. After years of picking him up at the humane society he needed a solution..
Unable to construct a physical fence and tired of chaining him up, he decided to install a pet hidden fence. Having reservations he was convinced this would not contain the free spirited Riley. He was wrong and the fence made his life much easier and Riley’s life much happier. The decision would give him the idea for the perfect business.

With the engineering background Dan took his time and researched various brands of hidden fences. He made the decision that DogWatch Brand Hidden Fences were the best.
